REMARK-M.bovis-M.tuberculosis: In Mycobacterium tuberculosis strain H37Rv, Rv2227 exists as a single gene. In Mycobacterium bovis, a frameshift due to a 1 bp to 2 bp substitution (t-cc) splits Rv2227 in two parts, Mb2251 and Mb2252.
