Productconserved protein
CommentsMb2425, -, len: 694 aa. Equivalent to hypothetical protein from Mycobacterium tuberculosis strain Erdman ATCC 35801 (99% identity with 692 aa overlap). Identified by de novo proteomics of Mycobacterium tuberculosis strain H37Rv under exponential conditions. (See Schubert et al., 2013). Conserved hypothetical protein, highly similar to others e.g. 9X8C4|SCE36.11c CONSERVED HYPOTHETICAL PROTEIN (FRAGMENT) from Streptomyces coelicolor (612 aa). Contains Glycosyl hydrolases family 15 superfamily domain, a glucoamylase and related glycosyl hydrolases multi-domain and a oligosaccharide amylase multi-domain. Mb2425 transcript and transcriptional start site identified in Mycobacterium bovis strain AF2122/97 grown under exponential conditions.
